It was a long time since I last blogged. I wondered what I was really busy with. Anyway, I spent a lot of money this week and I hope I can cut down on my expenses from next week onwards. Here's some highlights for the week.
Wednesday
Went for dinner with Eunice, MK and Sue to celebrate Eunice's birthday at Mint Museum. Then we sat at Starbucks at Cityhall and chatted about anything under the sun until 1plus in the morning. Imagine how tired I was and the other 3 were on leave the next day?
THURSDAY
Book Character Day.
Teachers and pupils came dressed like book characters. We were tired, hot and sticky at the end of the day... but were also glad and had fun. I wonder where the button to upload photos has gone to.. so no photos updates. I'm tired of blogging without pictures.. Google Chrome doesn't help at all. I think it's blogger's problem.
Celebrated Eunice's birthday during CGM with Thai theme. It's simply cool! Thanks to Eliz for coming up with such interesting ideas.
FRIDAY
National Day Celebration in school. Had a great time organising games for the P3 kids. Then a few of us went to Brewerkz to chill. It seemed to be like an yearly affair. Ha! Then I got home to take a nap and went Wendi's house to play tennis from 5 to 7pm. Following that was dinner at Changi Village and drinks at a NSRCC or dunno what club. We played pool, sang KTV and drank beer there for only $8 per person. Exclusive of pool which was $2 per game. Haha. It was fun!
Saturday
Took a cab down to JW church again for $18. My heart is aching. Service was great. The word was a word in season for me. Was just chatting with Eunice, MK and Sue about jumping during praise in service. I told them that I wanted to jump but as I looked around me I realised no one is doing that and I find it hard to get myself to do that. Eunice and MK agreed with me too. They also had the same feeling. So we were still joking about just Eunice, MK and me forming a circle and jumping on our own during service. If not, the three of us will sit among the youths and be part of them. TADA! Pastor Kong talked about praise and worship this week and he got all of us to jump and praise God. Of course he taught many other things on worship as well. But I am seriously comforted by this Word that was shared. I guess it's really time to get myself used to jumping to praise God exuberantly.
Sunday
I rested the whole day at home and watched the National Day Parade on TV with my family. The day just passed by quickly and before I know it, it's time to work again tomorrow. I have so many work undone. Simply lack the motivation to mark and do what I am supposed to do. A few more hours left. I better start NOW!
